Ask and you shall receive…


A recipe for one of today’s soups was requested by a soup lover, so here it is…

Pork with White Bean, Orzo Pasta, and Roasted Red Pepper  (4  to 5 servings)


  • diced pork loin ½ inch cube  1 cup
  • white onion ¼ inch diced ½ cup
  • chopped garlic  2 tablespoons
  • orzo pasta ½ cup  cooked
  • carrots ¼ diced ½ cup
  • celery ½  diced 1.3 cup
  • roasted red pepper 1/3 cup diced
  • cooked white navy beans  ½ cup
  • chicken stock 6 to 8 cups
  • flat leaf parsley 3 tablespoons
  • heavy cream 1 cup
  • diced tomato  1 cup
  • bay leaves, 2
  • sea salt  and lemon pepper to taste
  • Old Bay’ Seasoning 2 teaspoon
  • diced green onions 3 tablespoon
  • olive oil 3 oz


  • heat oil over medium heat,add pork ,cooked till slightly brown,add onion and garlic..cook few minutes
  • add carrot,celery
  • add stock, bay leaf , and Old Bay Seasoning
  • cook to a boil, then drop to a simmer
  • add beans, cream, and tomato,
  • add red pepper, pasta, cook till heated through, and then add salt and lemon pepper
  • add flat leaf parsley and green onions at the end

*Note – Can thicken with cornstarch if you want it thick
