“Stir it Up”

That was the Bob Marley song that Chef Steve sang while he stirred his delicious new concoction he calls his new, Jamaican-style Seafood Chowder.   I know you’re probably wondering why he calls it that, so I’ll tell you.   It is made using mango chipotle spice with jerk seasoning.    The jerk dry seasoning contains a combination of chilis, thyme, cinnamon, ginger, all-spice, cloves — suffice it to say that this little creation contains more than a little heat!  

For those who prefer their soups a little less spicy, his second selection is Cream of Chicken & Vegetable.

So come on over to Place Vanier and give a salute to the King of Reggae.  Had he lived, he would have been 67 today!
